My Story

Tori,

I will always remember how amazing and special you are. My heart aches to hold you, but I just have to wait until we are together again. We are putting a beautiful red rose from each of us on your headstone today. I know how much you loved roses. I will make a special birthday cake in your honor today (spice cake with cream cheese icing as I know that was your favorite) and we will eat it with your favorite rainbow sherbert. This is just like what you had last year for your birthday. I even bought little candy butterflies and frogs to put on the cake. I wish you were here to eat it with us, but I am sure the cake and ice cream in Heaven is so much better than what I make!

We bought Chester and Henry a kitty tower to play on for your birthday. I think that you would really like that, as I know that they are your babies. Aunt Theresa bought a beautiful butterfly windchime for your birthday. Every time we hear it's chime we will know you are blowing us kisses.

We miss you so very much, but know that you are happy. You have the Grand Prize already- we just can't wait to share it with you. We love you more than there are stars in the sky!!!!! Sweet dreams, sour pickles our beautiful Turtle.

Love you more,

Mom, Dad, Nick, Alex

The other day I was going thru some old church records and I found a big white envelope with this writing on it "To: Lane Christian Church From: Victoria Marie Wheat". It was an envelope she had used to put her offering in- her own money that she had earned but wanted to give to God all on her own!! That is the kind of girl Tori was. How many kids these days WANT to give God their money- just because? Tori was very special. I guess that is why God called her home so early. She was just too good for this world.

We are so glad she is safe in Jesus' arms, but still ache to hold her again. Thank you all for your love & prayers.

In His love, the Wheat's

P.S. Just wanted to mention that someone took some items off of Tori's gravesite. We believe it to be teenagers messing around, because what decent person would want to steal momentos from a little girl's grave?? Please pray that whoever took these items return them to her gravesite unharmed. Tori would have shared her things with anyone, if they asked her- so it makes it terribly wrong that they stole from her!!
